The countdown is on… ☆

| April 26, 2011

There are only four days until the Creativity, Imagination, and Innovation in Education Symposium at Teachers College and preparations are in full swing as we put together an event that will be thought-provoking, enlightening, and inspirational for all attendees.

The Art Education department will help us countdown to Thursday by providing a variety of  public art projects around TC. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week, the student body and faculty are invited to get their creativity flowing by participating in some hands-on art projects such as chalk drawings in Russell Courtyard, styrofoam print making in Grace Dodge cafeteria, and “mark making” in Zankel’s main hallway. Designed to encourage individual expression while collectively creating as a community, the projects hope to answer the question, “What is creativity to you?” What better way to take a break for creativity as we gear up for the Symposium?

In addition to feeding our creativity, the falafel cart across from TC will happily feed our hunger during Friday’s lunch break on your own. Check out this appetizing video… and be sure to get in line early on Friday!
